I’ll never forget the first time I took a class with Elise. It was a totally different feeling to me, and I knew I was hooked. I’d always loved working out, but Elise’s teaching style both challenged and inspired me in a very new way.

From that first class, I started to love the deep physical burn, the sweat in my eyes, and the struggle to find bliss and peace in the most challenging positions. Months later, I love my practice even more and find my way to the mat as often as my body lets me. I may not be hand-standing and rocking out crazy arm balances just yet, but I have learned through Elise how to be present where I am in my journey and to always try to achieve balance on and off the mat…even if that means falling down from time to time.

I feel so fortunate to know Elise both as a phenomenal yoga instructor and as a great friend. Elise has been a true inspiration in my life!
